The city also offers luxury dining, world-class shopping, and endless outdoor activities, so there’s sure to be something for you to enjoy. Here are some fun facts about San Jose. Listed below are some of the top things to do in San Jose.

The city is home to the San Jose Sharks hockey team, which hasn’t won the Stanley Cup in eight years. But the team reached the Stanley Cup final in 2015-16 under the leadership of Peter DeBoer. In addition to the NHL hockey team, the city is also home to the SAP Center, a modern sports venue. The arena also hosts a number of concerts and the USA Olympic gymnastics trials. While visiting San Jose, don’t miss a visit to the city’s museum of art, which includes the world’s largest rotating wall mural.

For families with children, the Chinese American Historical Museum is a great place to visit. This historic building was originally built in San Jose’s Heinlenville Chinatown, but was moved to History Park in 1991. The museum is run by the Chinese Historical and Cultural Project, which was started by Gerrye Wong in 1987. The museum contains exhibits relating to the history of Chinese immigrants in the Santa Clara Valley. You can view a gold-gilded altar and five statues of the gods.

The city also boasts several great outdoor activities. For example, visitors can enjoy a scenic drive on Skyline Boulevard or spend time hiking the nearby hills. Both of these activities are popular in San Jose, which makes it a great place for outdoor activities. During the first two weeks of March, the park has more than 2,000-year-old giant sequoias. Taking a trip to the Redwood National Forest is also a great way to experience the city’s unique culture.

You can visit the Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph, which was shut down for renovation in March 1987. The cathedral reopened on November 4, 1990, as the Cathedral of Saint Joseph. While downtown Campbell is full of trendy cafes and restaurants, there are also many historic landmarks to explore. For children, the Emma Prusch farm park is a fun stop. It was donated to the city in 1962 and preserved its agricultural heritage. The city’s farmers market offers a wide variety of organic fruits and vegetables to enjoy.

Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose is another great option for family outings. This museum was founded in 1990 and is one of the best children’s museums in the country. Its 52,000 square-foot purple building was designed by Mexican-born architect Ricardo Legorreta. It is a great place for children and adults to spend the day. Children can learn a lot about science, technology, and engineering in the museum.
