The cemetery is a natural setting with over 18 thousand gravesites, including 8,200 crypts, 7,200 niches for cremated remains, and 9,000 burial sites in the ground. There are restrooms and an amphitheater.

Another outdoor attraction in Sarasota is Nathan Benderson Park. It’s a natural area with a lake in the middle, making it ideal for simple water sports like rowing. The park also features a paved walking/cycling path for those who want to exercise. Whether you’re looking for a day at the beach, or a long-awaited vacation, the area has something for everyone.
