You may have heard of Tulsa, Oklahoma, but did you know that it also has a thriving craft beer scene? The Mother Road Market, a recently opened marketplace on Route 66, is a great place to taste local beers. In addition to the typical craft beer options, you can also find artisan breads and food stalls. Check out Doctor Kustom for Brazilian cuisine, Farrell Bread and Bakery for artisan breads, and Big Dipper Creamery for small-batch scoops.

If you’re looking for a cultural center, Tulsa is home to a few. The Tulsa Performing Arts Center is full of creative energy and was designed by Minoru Yamasaki, who also designed the Twin Towers in New York City. If you’re into music, then you can catch a show at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, where live performances are held. You can also visit the Boston Avenue Methodist Church for a spiritual experience.

For fun in the sun, head to the Tulsa Gathering Place. It’s a 72,000 square foot zone that offers a variety of attractions. There’s a carousel, a food court, and a play area for kids. It hosts events like Black Friday, tax-free weekend, and Easter bunny, and is the fun capital of Tulsa. So whether you’re looking for a family outing or just want to take a stroll through the city, Tulsa has it all.

For outdoor adventure, check out the Tulsa River Parks. The nine-block district anchored by the acclaimed Blue Dome, a renovated 1920s-era Gulf Oil station, offers a number of different options for outdoor recreation. You can hike or bike, or just take in the beautiful scenery of downtown Tulsa. You can even check out the famous blue dome, which was once home to a thriving art and entertainment district.
