Pendleton Woolen Mills are open for tours and are a must for any visitor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Crow&#8217;s Shadow Institute of the Arts is located on the Umatilla Indian reservation. Founded in 1862, the school focuses on fine printmaking. Its reputation for fine art lithography has spanned the globe. Among other collections, its works are in the Library of Congress, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Portland Art Museum, and the Smithsonian. You can explore the region&#8217;s rich culture and learn about its history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The town is known for its annual rodeo, the Pendleton Round-Up. You can also view historic artifacts and photographs at the adjacent Happy Canyon Hall of Fame.
