You can also go snowshoeing or cross-country skiing on the trails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re looking for a long-distance hike, consider checking out Deception Pass State Park, located on the north side of Whidbey Island in Puget Sound. The park has over 4,000 acres of recreation land, much of which runs alongside the water. There are also more than 30 major hiking trails in the park, including Lighthouse Point Loop and Hoypus Point Loop. It features a lakeside path and miles of trails that are maintained by Seattle Parks and Recreation. Trail conditions may vary depending on recent weather, season, and other factors.
