A visit to the Soldiers Memorial Military Museum in Forest Park is a great way to get a taste of its history. The building itself was originally constructed in 1913 and is the first national monument dedicated to Thomas Jefferson. The museum also contains a suspended monoplane, the Spirit of St. Louis, which was used by Charles Lindbergh during his first transatlantic flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you love learning about history, you can visit the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis, also known as the Old Cathedral.
