If you&#8217;re looking for something more secluded, try the Three Quarters of the Twelve Mile Swamp between Nocatee and St. Augustine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While strolling through the historic district, make sure to visit the Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse. The school house was the first co-ed school in the United States. It was originally a one-room building, made of cedar and cypress wood. The schoolmaster later married, and the building was converted into a school. The building now holds 160 wax figures.
