It has less rainfall during these months, making the town a great place for visitors. July, the busiest month for Socorro, however, is the busiest, and the hotel rates tend to be higher during this time. November is the quietest time of year. In general, Socorro has a low population during this period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many ways to spend your days in Socorro. The city has many interesting things to offer, including a quaint downtown district. The city is also known for the White Sands Missile Range, which is located in the Jornada del Muerto desert. While you&#8217;re here, be sure to visit the Karl G. Jansky Very Large Array Radio Telescope facility in Socorro. Guests of the park can view beautiful reptile fossil discoveries from 200 million years ago. You can also find some outdoor recreational activities at the San Pedro Wilderness. While there, you can also take a dip in the lake or hike through a nearby wilderness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Socorro has several great hotels that are sure to meet all of your needs while in town.
