The local Citrus Grillhouse, which has been ranked among the top outdoor restaurants in the country by OpenTable, changes its menu to feature locally-sourced Florida ingredients. Choose from specialty pastas and Florida shrimp risotto, or try the pan-seared sea scallops. You can also enjoy a key lime pie on the beach-facing patio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to visit Vero Beach and Sebastian, Florida in one day, you can take advantage of free open-water swimming. Both beaches are patrolled by lifeguards and are safe for swimming. Sebastian even offers airboat rides near alligators. If you&#8217;re looking for a family vacation, you can&#8217;t go wrong with Sebastian and Vero Beach. While they&#8217;re both located in Southern Florida, their weather conditions make them ideal for beachcombing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Located on the Indian River Lagoon, Sebastian is a true Treasure Coast community. Pelican Island, America&#8217;s first wildlife refuge, is located near the town. The Sebastian River Medical Center is the primary health care center for the area. Other medical facilities include the Cleveland Clinic in Vero Beach. There are also many opportunities for outdoor recreation and cultural experiences in Sebastian. It&#8217;s all a matter of choosing the right place to spend your next summer vacation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vero Beach has a lot to offer visitors. It&#8217;s an upscale town in Indian River County, home to chic boutiques and trendy restaurants. It&#8217;s also near Orchid Island and the Indian River. Vero Beach was once home to the Dodgers&#8217; Spring Training base, and baseball enthusiasts still flock here. Even today, the town hosts Little League tournaments at its former Dodgertown Stadium. In addition to beachside beaches, the area also has many cattlemen and citrus growers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a treasure museum in Vero Beach, located near the city&#8217;s oceanfront. The museum has artifacts from several Spanish sailing ships, including the Nuestra Senora de Atocha. A Spanish treasure fleet, it is estimated to have carried over $500 million in gold. While it&#8217;s not possible to visit every ship, most people do enjoy seeing the sunken treasure.
