This 18-acre estate, completed in 1968, is home to the Georgia governors. It is also the site of many concerts and dances. You&#8217;ll also find a great waterfront campsite at Walter F. George Lake, a 650-acre impoundment of the Towaliga River. If you&#8217;d like to fish year-round, try Lake Sinclair, a 37-mile recreational reservoir run by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enterprise Mill is an undiscovered gem on the Flint River, with a library park pass program, junior ranger gopher badge program, and fishing tackle loaner programs. This historic site was first developed by James L. Coleman in 1848. It was originally a flour mill, and was later named after a prominent Augustan. The mill continues to operate today as a family-oriented park.
