For those with a little more experience, you can continue the trip along the 160-mile Cascadia Marine Trail. Many of the remote islands boast rustic CMT campsites with compost toilets and picnic tables. The San Juan Island is home to a winery, a historic museum, and a spa. And if you&#8217;re looking for a relaxing getaway, there are several resorts and hotels to choose from on the island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The San Juan Islands are located 60 miles north of Seattle and a short ferry ride from Anacortes and Sidney.
