For fun, head over to the LEGOLAND New York theme park, which is located about a half-hour away. If you have time, you may want to visit a museum that features a collection of historic and contemporary art. Also in the area are numerous theaters and museums, including the Orange County Performing Arts Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dining in Goshen is easy, largely because of the many places to eat. The town is sixty miles from New York City and sixteen miles by rail from the Hudson River. By air, it is 70 miles from New York. Historically, Goshen was a farming community with a growing population. At that time, agriculture was the largest industry in the town. Until the 1960s, Goshen was a center of Eastern European immigrants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Historically, Goshen was a small village center. Its name, &#8220;Goshen,&#8221; is a biblical word meaning &#8220;Goshen&#8221;. The city is also known for its black soil, which is unusually fertile. The town is home to eight hundred residents. Its 3.2 square mile center is home to many historic buildings and a town centre with a variety of businesses. Moreover, the village is home to a farmer&#8217;s market and a weekly farmer&#8217;s market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the early 20th century, the village had a population of 3,311, which is now at about five thousand people.
