It&#8217;s a popular option among locals and visitors alike, as it offers a convenient way to get to and from the islands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To board the ferry, head to the Angel Island-Tiburon ferry pier. You can easily find it at the end of Main Street in Tiburon. There, you&#8217;ll find a passageway between the Water&#8217;s Edge Hotel and the Main Treat. The parking lots have waiting decks on the ground. Beyond the buildings, you&#8217;ll find the gangway to the ferries. The pier for Angels is next to Guaymas restaurant, which is located at the end of the block.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Getting to Tiburon from Angel Island is easy. The Angel Island-Tiburon ferry runs from the San Francisco Bay to the peninsula of the same name. The ferry is the fastest way to travel to the peninsula from the city center, and it&#8217;s also one of the most scenic routes. To travel from the island to Tiburon, you can take Golden Gate Transit to get to the town. You can find fares and schedules here. If you&#8217;re visiting Tiburon from afar, you can rent bicycles at Blazing Saddles Bike Rentals and Tours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ferries to Tiburon and Angel Island leave from Pier 41 in San Francisco, so it&#8217;s easy to reach the islands via ferry. A ferry leaves from the city every 30 minutes, and you can also catch a taxi to the island. The ferries stop at three main docks: Fort McDowell, Camp Reynolds, and Ayala Cove. There are restrooms with flush toilets at all three sites, and there are maps on the Angel Island Immigration Station Foundation&#8217;s website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The peninsula between Tiburon and Angel Island is a rich suburb with many restaurants and hotels. The latter is a quaint seaside town with a pier that extends for about a mile. It is a great place to grab a delicious meal, a tasty hangtown fry omelet, and a scrumptious breakfast. The ferry service will cost a couple of dollars to operate, but you can expect it to be worth it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are also ferries to Angel Island and Tiburon. During the weekend, the ferries make three trips to the islands and four back. The ferries are certified for 400 passengers. During the 1918 pandemic, the service was suspended, but resumed in July. All passengers are required to wear masks.
