This historic mansion features period furnishings and is a must-see. It was home to the elite before and after the American Revolution, and is the oldest state house in the country. During this time, the house was America&#8217;s capital for nearly a year and was the site of several national events. A trip to Annapolis is not complete without a visit to the William Paca House.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many historic structures in the city. There are multiple Colonial trolley tours, where you can learn about the city&#8217;s history. You can also visit the Hammond-Harwood House, which features a beautiful 18th century garden and antiques. There are also guided tours of pre-Revolutionary mansions at the Historic Annapolis Museum and Store. The town&#8217;s museums are also worth a visit.
