Hyannis and Barnstable are two picturesque villages on the Cape Cod peninsula in Massachusetts. Hyannis is known for the expansive Kalmus Park Beach and the private Kennedy Compound. There is a museum dedicated to the assassinated U.S. president, John F. Kennedy, in Hyannis, which chronicles the president’s family vacations here. The Cape Cod Maritime Museum features exhibits on boat building and navigation. Ferries connect Hyannis to Nantucket Island.

Visitors can fly to either Barnstable or Hyannis using one of the county’s two airports: the Cape Cod Airfield and the Barnstable Municipal Airport. Both airports serve the regional aviation needs of the area. The local municipal airport, located at Polando Field, is the closest international airport to the Cape. Both towns are also home to the main ferry lines to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.

Nearby towns and villages include Barnstable, which is the county’s largest village, and Hyannis, which is its central business district. Both towns are served by the Barnstable Municipal Airport, which is a major hub for flights between the Cape and the islands. The nearest international airport is Logan International Airport. A number of ferry services run from Hyannis to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard.

The towns of Barnstable and Hyannis are a great place for family vacations. Both towns have a large variety of activities to keep everyone happy, and both towns are part of the Greater Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. The Barnstable and Hyannis region is the perfect spot to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding area. There are over 100 miles of beaches to explore, including the world famous Craigville Beach. Those interested in playing golf can enjoy three public courses and two town-owned golf courses in the region.

Both towns have historic attractions and unique neighborhoods. In Hyannis, Main Street is the busiest commercial center on the Cape south of Provincetown, with dozens of sidewalk cafes and musicians every half block. A few free concerts are held in Aselton Park on weekends and on the Village Green in front of the Town Hall. In Hyannis, a charming artist shanty is located near the harbor. The town’s vibrant arts scene is a draw for visitors.

In Hyannis, the town has a vibrant waterfront with plenty of restaurants, shops and cafes. The town’s JFK Memorial is a must-see, and the Town has eleven beaches. Most of them are open to the public and are accessible to anyone. Downtown, the waterfront has a large number of restaurants that cater to various tastes. If you’re looking for something more exotic, try a Thai restaurant or an Italian restaurant.

The city is made up of seven distinct villages. The city of Hyannis is divided into three districts. Each of them is unique, and is home to several museums. The town’s town hall is in the heart of Hyannis. The police station is located on Route 132. The county courthouse and jail are in the center of the county.
