This 445-acre facility helps local farmers improve their farming practices and has educational seminars and workshops. For those who enjoy food and agriculture, the Farmers Market is a must-see in Blairsville. After a long day of shopping, be sure to try some homestyle cooking at one of Blairsville&#8217;s many restaurants. While there, you can sample fresh produce and local goods grown nearby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the foodie, make sure to try the Hot Mess Cafe. It is known for its delicious food and is one of the top things to do in Blairsville. If you&#8217;re in the mood for hiking, try the DeSoto Falls cafe, located just off Highway 129. The area is very scenic and is easily accessible by car. The cafe features two waterfalls. For those who prefer their meals cooked on a grill, you can order a pizza at one of the many restaurants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Georgia Mountain Research and Education Centre is another popular attraction in Blairsville. This 445-acre property is a fantastic educational venue that helps local farmers improve their crops. The center also holds interactive workshops and educational seminars. It&#8217;s also a good place to pick up a souvenir or buy some local produce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Blairsville, you can also visit the Nottely Bald, Georgia&#8217;s tallest mountain. The mountain has breathtaking views and a beautiful visitor center. The Bald is also home to numerous family-friendly festivals and events, including the Sorghum Festival. In the town, the Sorghum Festival is a great place to learn about the native plants. You can also visit the waterfalls at Minnehaha Falls, Helton Creek Falls, and Hurricane Falls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The town square in Blairsville is a beautiful place to visit. Locally-owned businesses have preserved the area&#8217;s historic character. For a great coffee, try the Cabin Coffee Company, a franchise of a national coffee shop. The friendly staff at this local coffee house will help you find your perfect drink. You can enjoy the cafe&#8217;s delicious breakfast sandwiches and baked goods, as well as coffee drinks and fresh juices. If you&#8217;re a foodie, make sure to stop by the Hole In the Wall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re looking to spend a romantic getaway with your significant other, you&#8217;ll love the town&#8217;s charm and many festivals and events. In November, the Mistletoe Market, Blairsville Holiday Stop &amp; Shop, and the Fourth of July celebrations are a great way to start the season off in this small town in Georgia.
