In addition, Lake Champlain makes up the state&#8217;s border with New York, extending into a small portion of Canada. The lake is home to pristine islands and charming lakeside communities. This annual art festival is held in the post-industrial &#8220;South End&#8221; section of the city. This event attracts over 600 artists and is a great way to spend a weekend in the city. It happens on the last weekend of September.
