Further south is the Shelburne Museum, a sprawling museum dedicated to American decorative and folk arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Located only 20 minutes outside of downtown Burlington, the Catamount family center is a great place to take the family for a day of hiking, cycling, and other activities. The family-friendly trails shared with bicyclists and nordic skiers provide a fun way to spend a weekend. During the winter, you can try to brave the snow and take a hike in the White Mountains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For shopping and dining, head to the South End and enjoy the bustling atmosphere of the Church Street Marketplace. This outdoor pedestrian mall features more than a hundred shops and restaurants. You can also visit the historic sights and sample local fare at many of the local businesses. Once you&#8217;re tired of shopping, check out the art galleries and boutiques along Church Street. If you&#8217;re looking for a unique experience, consider staying at the Shelburne Farms Inn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While in Burlington, don&#8217;t miss the Burlington Greenway, an 8-mile paved path along Lake Champlain. It passes through downtown and along the beach, while offering breathtaking views of the water and Stowe. You can even extend your hike to Grand Isle if you want. This is one of the best things to do in Burlington. You may even find yourself wishing that you were a part of the artist community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re looking for a place to stay in Burlington, try a nature preserve. The nearby Wells River Visitor Center is a great place to view the wildlife in the area. A number of people choose to stay in Burlington because it is a desirable place to live, and it&#8217;s easy to see why. If you&#8217;re visiting with your kids, you should check out the North Beach Park, a popular natural park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re looking for an activity to do outdoors, you&#8217;ll find plenty of activities in and around Burlington. The Ticonderoga Steamboat is one of the most popular attractions in Burlington, and you can hike the lakeside trail to see it. There are several hiking trails in the area. Mount Mansfield and Camels Hump are the two most challenging, while Mount Philo is the most accessible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Shelburne Museum is the largest museum dedicated to the history of the region. The Shelburne Museum is a must-see attraction in Burlington, Vermont. It spans 45 acres and features antique and historic buildings. An antique carousel and a 22-foot steamboat are two of the popular attractions at the museum.
