The locals are devoted to this chile and its many benefits. The chile is said to have miraculous healing properties. The villagers in Chimayo also make pilgrimages to the Santa Cruz Lake. The Sangre de Cristo Mountains are the backdrop to the lake. The surrounding landscape is beautiful, and the locals enjoy picnicking and camping in the park. The town is a great place for a family vacation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The people of the Chimayo area have long believed in the healing powers of the earth. They believe in healing spirits and the presence of supernatural beings in the region. The hot springs in the area are said to have magical properties. However, there are some negative aspects to the hot springs. During the day, the dirt is not clean. This is a religious site. The dirt is considered sacred by the locals. A large portion of the community has been converted into a church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many other things to do while visiting the Chimayo area. During the day, you can explore the beautiful town. The city is filled with art and cultural treasures. The town is best known for its chile peppers, which are grown in Chimayo.
