CSX in 1957, and the town was turned into a spur line for the L n. became a spur line for the L o. The cordova rail line served until 2002. The L n. ceased service in 2008.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The historic town center has many interesting buildings and historical sites to explore. The historic train station in downtown is an example of a 19th-century railroad depot. This was a stop on the N. C. &amp; S. L. Railway, a branch of the L&amp;N. Its main line, which served Memphis, was built in 1845.
