Located just north of Gorda, Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park is an excellent place to explore the city. You can walk to the top of the mountain to see the spectacular coastal scenery, or just relax in the park’s picnic area. The day-use lot offers plenty of parking and can accommodate up to four hundred people. There are many hiking opportunities in Burns.
