The First State Heritage Park, located in Dover&#8217;s historic district, covers over 300 years of American history. There are also lantern walks and tours of graveyards in the town cemetery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The First State Heritage Park is a great place to visit if you&#8217;re interested in history. It links together several historic sites and is the perfect place to take a guided walking tour. There are a number of special events held throughout the year at this park, so be sure to plan ahead to enjoy them while you&#8217;re here. While it is a small town, the historic sites in Dover offer a wealth of historical value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For those who love shopping, Dover is home to dozens of shopping malls. In addition to the Old State House, there are also many places to explore in Kent County. There are also a number of nature reserves in the area. Dover is one of the oldest cities in the U.S. and is home to two NASCAR tracks. You can find everything you&#8217;re looking for in Dover. If you&#8217;re traveling to Dover by car, you&#8217;ll have no trouble finding a parking spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dover is home to several universities. The Delaware State University is a historically black university. Formerly the town was home to Wesley College, which is now the Downtown campus. The grounds of the former college still house Campus Community School. The Terry Campus of Delaware Technical Community College is the city&#8217;s administrative headquarters. The Wilmington University of Dover are also located in Dover.
