In 1924, Dr. Abraham Krasker founded the Forest Acres Camp for Boys and Girls, and his wife, Gertrude, created the Indian Acres Camp For Boys. These two institutions are both educational and fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Fryeburg Fair is a year-round event in the town. The Fryeburg Fair is Maine&#8217;s largest agricultural fair, with more than 3,000 animals. The town&#8217;s historic buildings are home to a variety of local food and beer. The 185-acre fairgrounds hosts a variety of events, including live music.
