As one of the last boom towns in the American West, Georgetown has been meticulously restored and is a great retreat from modern life. You can also go horseback riding, visit a museum, or take a relaxing stroll through the downtown area. The Georgetown Loop Railroad provides transportation to and from the mountain town and has been in operation since the 19th century. It is also home to one of the oldest art co-ops in the state, and a vintage gallery.
