The Fort is home to America’s Contingency Corps, or ACC, which is a strategic crisis response force. It is also known as the Home of the Airborne Force. The XVIII Airborne Corps, U.S. Army Special Operations Command, and Paratute Team are all headquartered here. You can also find out more about the Corps Support Command at the base, and other units such as the 525th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade, 16th Military Police Brigade, 20th Engineer Brigade, 108th ADA Brigade, and 44th Medical Command.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The city of Fayetteville is also located nearby. Fayetteville is the sixth largest city in North Carolina. The surrounding suburb metro area includes several smaller towns and cities. There are many unknown factors surrounding the deaths of Specialist Enrique Roman-Martinez. His body was found in the sand near Fort Bragg in North Carolina, but his identity remains a mystery.
