The Lexington Fire Department is based in the Lexington Fire Department headquarters. The East Lexington station has 61 firefighters and EMS members. Fire Chief Derek Sencabaugh oversees the department&#8217;s operations. Lexington is home to a number of museums, including the Museum of Our National Heritage. The Lexington Minutemen of 1775 Memorial is also located on Bedford Street. The Lexington Fire Department also has a museum on Massachusetts Ave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Lexington area is primarily residential, although a few industries exist.
