You might be surprised to find out that this town has been featured in several films, including A River Runs Through It, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January. Other films set in the town include Certain Women, which stars Michelle Williams. While in town, you can also check out the Murray Hotel, which is one of the oldest buildings in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While in town, you can also stop by Chico Hot Springs for some soaking in the natural mineral water. The city also offers two unique breweries: the Livingston Brewing Company and Katabatic Brewing Company. The latter is a popular spot for beer brewers who believe in making their products with the highest quality ingredients. The latter offers many beers for a cause and hosts live music. And, if you&#8217;re looking for a place for a delicious dinner with friends, the Montana Rib and Chop House is your best bet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The town of Livingston is situated on the banks of the Yellowstone River, where Lewis and Clark stopped for rest on July 15, 1806. It was 76 years after the expedition left for the Pacific Ocean. It was first named Clark City, after the contractor, Herman Clark. Livingston was a stockholder of the Northern Pacific Railroad and a director. Among the city&#8217;s first residents, she is a prominent author and an acclaimed grizzly bear expert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Murray Bar, which is located inside the historic Murray Hotel, has a cowboy ambiance and welcomes both upscale and laid-back patrons. If you&#8217;re looking for a place to enjoy good food and drink, Livingston also has many excellent pubs. The Murray Hotel has two restaurants, including Pinky&#8217;s Cafe, which boasts creative home-cooked food. A visit to Livingston will leave you with lots of memories to treasure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There&#8217;s plenty to do and see in Livingston. The town itself is full of historic buildings and a modern downtown. The town is home to several art galleries, fine restaurants, and a craft brewery, Neptune&#8217;s Brewing Company. There&#8217;s live music twice a week, as well as beers for a cause on Tuesday nights. You&#8217;ll have a great time in Livingston, and you&#8217;ll have the perfect excuse to go hiking and mountain biking!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paradise Valley is a scenic drive south of Livingston. In autumn, cottonwoods along the river turn a brilliant gold. Grassy hillsides are beautiful in the springtime, but bear spray is recommended if you&#8217;re tackling the mountain trails during the hottest time of the year. Chico Hot Springs is located close by. Its warm waters are ideal for relaxing soaks.
