Macon Downtown Airport is located near downtown. This airport is used for corporate flights and small planes, while Middle Georgia Regional Airport serves the city for public air service and cargo flights. The Macon Transit Authority runs a comprehensive public transit city bus system in the city. The public transit system also offers express bus services to Warner Robins, Georgia. If you do not have a car, you can use Uber or Lyft services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Cherry Blossom Festival is another great way to enjoy spring in Macon. In the spring, there are over three hundred thousand Yoshino Cherry trees blooming in the city. The festival includes live music performances, dances, and tours.
