Judd&#8217;s work was the catalyst that turned Marfa into an arts town. Judd, a native of Marfa, established the Chinati Foundation at a former military base. The Chinati Foundation features several major art installations, including Judd&#8217;s giant concrete blocks and Dan Flavin&#8217;s untitled fluorescent light installations. A guided tour of the space can take between 1.5 and 2.5 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another attraction in Marfa is the Chinati Foundation, which houses a large modern art museum. Located on the grounds of a former military camp, this museum has a unique history. Judd&#8217;s work is on display throughout town, and the city is a cultural hub. Ayn Foundation supports large installations and international artists such as Andy Warhol.
