Manzanita, Oregon, is a coastal town in the state of Tillamook County. Located just off U.S. Route 101, it is about 25 miles north of Tillamook and south of Seaside. In the 2010 Census, there were 307 households, with 9.4% of the households being family-oriented. Approximately 50 percent of these households were made up of married couples, while 4.6% were headed by a female householder without her husband. Another 42.3% were non-families, while the remaining 38.8% were single people. And 18.6% of households were headed by senior citizens. The town’s average household size was 1.84, while its median family size was 2.33.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you’re looking for a low-key beach bar, consider the San Dune Pub. This casual establishment serves up delicious seafood, poutine, and even Willapa Bay oysters. The Nehalem Parks and Recreation Department has exercise equipment and a swimming pool. It also hosts different classes. Manzanita is home to several popular beaches. The main drag in Manzanita is Laneda Ave, which is lined with local shops and restaurants. There’s an excellent selection of local food and drink at Big Wave Caf\u00e9 and a number of other places.
