A trip to Cincinnati is a great way to experience American culture in a city that’s so diverse. The Ohio River runs through the city, and it’s a great location to take in the sights. To the south is the Over-the-Rhine district, with its 19th-century architecture and craft vendors. To the north is the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. To the east is the Cincinnati Museum Center, which includes science and history museums, as well as the Cincinnati Art Museum, which displays works that date back more than 6,000 years.

In the heart of downtown Cincinnati is the historic Findlay Market, an open-air market that dates back to 1852. This building is on the National Register of Historic Places, and it offers a variety of year-round shopping opportunities. A short drive away is the Brewery District, a neighborhood that’s known for its working breweries and restaurants. In addition to the Cincinnati May Festival Chorus, you can catch a performance at one of the city’s renowned jazz clubs.

Mt. Airy Forest Park has a number of hiking trails, including a 13.9-mile trail. This trail offers a sense of solitude despite being so close to the road.
