Located on the “forearm” of Cape Cod, Eastham has a vibrant history. The town is about 23 miles from Provincetown, which is a mile south, and one-third of the distance between Barnstable and Provincetown. It is also 38 miles from the Sagamore Bridge and 92 miles from Boston. For those who don’t enjoy beach activities, the town offers plenty of opportunities for hiking and biking.

The town’s scenic beauty makes it a popular destination for vacationers. Visitors can take advantage of 202 free and 76 inexpensive activities in Eastham, MA. There are numerous beaches, lighthouses, and hiking trails to explore, and the town is only a short drive from Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. If you have time to explore, you might even want to visit Cape Cod National Seashore and view the 17th century ruins.

Eastham has a thriving downtown and many popular neighborhoods. The town also has some residential neighborhoods with dense population. North Eastham is popular with beach enthusiasts as it is away from the ocean. It is important to consider all the neighborhood characteristics before deciding to move to the town. It is not a city with a monopolistic industry, so you may want to live in a less-crowded area. While it’s not a huge town, it is still close to many other towns on Cape Cod.

While it’s easy to get lost in the small town, you might want to check out the area’s many attractions. The Eastham Center Historic District contains the town hall and the Eastham Windmill, which is the oldest windmill on Cape Cod. The Cape Cod National Seashore also has a beautiful lighthouse called Nauset Light. The village is home to several National Register of Historic Places properties. You can take a walk through this area and enjoy the historic architecture.

Near Eastham, there is a National Seashore. You can find several beaches in the town. For a beach, choose the Nauset Trail, a 1.1 mile route with an elevation gain of 167.3 ft. A short hike to Three Sisters lighthouses can be done on the opposite side of the island. The beach is popular with many tourists, so it’s worth a visit. There are also a number of museums and other attractions nearby.
