The city of Glendive, Montana, is located in the state of Dawson County. It is the county seat of Dawson County. The city is home to 4.3 thousand people and is the twenty-third-largest city in the state. The city is ranked 4887th largest in the United States. During the 2010 census, its population reached 4,935 people. In the last five years, the population of the city has decreased by 2.82%. The city spans over three square miles, with a population density of 1,381 people per square mile.

Among Glendive’s many attractions, the largest dinosaur museum in the world is located here. Its impressive collection of fossils includes an 18-foot-tall T-Rex. The museum is also home to a 1918 log cabin and old schoolhouse. Visitors can enjoy dinosaur exhibits in an outdoor setting during their stay at this historic site. It is also open to the public during the summer. If you’re looking for a more cultural experience, you can tour the nearby Makoshika State Park.

Located between the Yellowstone River and the Badlands, Glendive has a lot to offer. The city is accessible via Interstate 94 (Exits 215, 224 and 231), and Montana Highway 16 starts in West Glendive. The city is surrounded by the Yellowstone River, and the Makoshika State Park is a fantastic place for nature lovers and fossil hunters. There are also hiking trails and a golf course. The town has a number of outdoor activities, including agate hunting.

In the past, many residents served in the US military. In addition, veterans of the Vietnam War are concentrated in the city. The city also has many parks and bars.
