The city of Flagstaff, Arizona is situated in the southwestern United States and is surrounded by mountains, desert, and ponderosa pine forests. The area is a popular destination for skiing, and is home to the popular Arizona Snowbowl ski resort. Other highlights of the region include the Wupatki National Monument, which contains the sites of ancient Native American pueblos. And, Walnut Canyon, which is dotted with cliff dwellings.

The Museum of Northern Arizona is devoted to preserving and celebrating Native American culture. Visitors can see everything from fierce headdresses to delicate wall tapestries. The museum is free to enter, and is an excellent place to educate yourself about Flagstaff history. It also has galleries with contemporary Native American artists that love Star Wars. If you’re looking for the perfect place to get away from it all, Flagstaff is an excellent destination.

There are many places to stay in Flagstaff, including campgrounds. Fort Tuthill offers a close proximity to downtown and popular attractions such as Oak Creek Canyon and Sedona. Located in the town center, the Museum of Northern Arizona is a great place for families to spend the night. The museum’s exhibits include Native American artifacts from the Colorado Plateau, as well as objects from the local area. Founded in 1928, this museum has a history of more than a century, and the experience is a valuable one for anyone visiting the area.
