For culture lovers, Houston is the place to be. There are numerous museums and cultural events, and the city’s inner city offers fine dining, shopping, and history and entertainment. Outdoor recreation in the city is plentiful, with nearby attractions like Lake Livingston and Sam Houston National Forest. Visitors can visit the museum district, which has over a thousand restaurants. In addition to museums, Houston is known as the city with the most restaurants, with a variety of options available for all tastes and interests.

The George Observatory, part of the Houston Museum of Natural Science, is an excellent place to see the stars. It features free cable television and a computer room. You can also spend the day fishing and hiking at the Brazos River. Whether you like to be outdoors, Houston is a great place to go on a weekend adventure. Bird-watching is another favorite at this location. The park also has an observatory. You can take a hike along the lake and learn about the local flora and fauna.
