You can even drive to nearby Evergreen for some shopping or eating. It’s about 30 minutes from Golden. Golden is also close to Boulder, which is known for its art scene. There are plenty of shops and restaurants to explore. A short drive from the city center is the Pearl Street Art District, a charming main street with historic storefronts, delicious restaurants, and Colorado craft beer.
