Whether you’re looking for an inn, restaurant, or shop, Woodstock has it all. For example, you can enjoy great coffee in the town’s many cafes, including the Mon Vert Cafe, which focuses on local suppliers and farmers. Soulfully Good is another great spot in town that offers a tasty maple latte and sandwiches. You’ll be right in the center of town, so it’s convenient for both eating and shopping.

You can purchase unique gifts and souvenirs at Clover Gift Shop, which offers carefully curated gift items, home decor, and CBD products. This shop, established in 1928, has a storied history and is a must-visit for those interested in buying unique Vermont souvenirs. Another popular destination is F.H. Gillingham & Son’s, which has been around since 1886. The Vermont Flannel Company offers a wide variety of locally made soft flannel.

If you’re visiting Woodstock Vermont, be sure to visit one of the many covered bridges that are located within a 10-mile radius. The Middle Covered Bridge is a picturesque 139-foot span spanning the Ottauquechee River. The bridge is a National Register of Historic Places listing. Also in the town, be sure to visit the Sugarbush Farm, which is known for its delicious maple syrup and cheese.

The Pump House Indoor Waterpark is another must-visit, which offers several different rides. If you are a beer fan, you’ll also love Ideletyme Brewing Co. and a fantastic restaurant. It’s a perfect destination for a day or an evening out.

If you’re an outdoors person, you’ll want to visit the Quechee Gorge Trail, a 2.7-mile hike within Quechee State Park. The walk will allow you to take in stunning views of the Ottauquechee River and the Quechee Gorge. Many people have called the gorge ‘Vermont’s Little Grand Canyon, so be sure to park at the visitor center and walk to the bottom of the gorge.
