June 23, 2022 | More: Hiking Trails| Salt Lake City

Winter in Utah can be chilly, and you’ll be surprised to find snow on the mountainsides. But if you’re more interested in hiking, the city has many hiking trails, from easy city summit hikes to rugged mountain adventures. If you’re interested in exploring the city during the warmer months, you can go hiking in the spring, summer, and fall. There are even snow-free hikes. While you’re in town for an amazing ski resort, make sure you check the weather report before you head out.

Hiking and climbing in Salt Lake City is not only fun in the summer, but it can be equally as rewarding in the winter. The city has an impressive tourist industry. It’s home to a significant LGBT community and the industrial banking hub of the United States. And, it’s home to the University of Utah. While the area’s culture is distinctly liberal, it’s also home to a significant LGBT community. And you can’t miss out on the university or shopping in the vibrant downtown district.

Utah’s Canyonlands Trail is a great family hike with plenty of opportunities for fun and wild adventure. Hiking in this scenic area offers a variety of natural attractions, including catch-and-release lakes and huge boulders that you can climb. The trail is easily accessible, and there’s ample parking and restroom facilities. Plus, the full view of the lake makes it the perfect family activity.
