Gig Harbor is a city and bay located on the shores of Puget Sound in Pierce County, Washington. As of the 2020 census, the population was 12,026. However, the population was just 7,126 in 2010.

Gig Harbor has a temperate climate, so you won’t have to worry about the rain all year round. Gig Harbor is often sunny in the morning, but can also be drenched by mid-afternoon. While most of the trail is flat, it does cross a few major city streets. Bicycles should always yield at intersections.
