Gig Harbor is a city and bay located on the shores of Puget Sound in Pierce County, Washington. As of the 2020 census, the population was 12,026. However, the population was just 7,126 in 2010.

While most of the trail is flat, it does cross a few major city streets. Bicycles should always yield at intersections.
