In Deschutes County, Oregon, the two cities of Bend and Sunriver offer a range of outdoor activities. The first is known for the Deschutes River, which runs through the town. The other is known for its golf courses and other attractions. Both are popular summer destinations for travelers. The towns are located about an hour’s drive from each other. In the 2010 census, the population was 1,393. You can visit the two cities and experience the outdoors in style.

There are many things to do in Bend and Sunriver. There are several family-friendly activities. Enjoy holiday concerts and arts and crafts fairs, or visit SantaLand and Dutchman Flats Sno Park. There are also plenty of lakes and reservoirs to explore. If you’re looking for something to do with the kids, take a drive to Crane Prairie, which is known for its large rainbow trout and natural wildlife. It will take around 50 minutes to reach this pristine body of water.

During the summer, it holds an outdoor music festival called Munch and Music. In addition, there are many family-friendly events in the area. The towns are popular with vacationers from Portland. The bicycle network is one of the best in the world. You can take your kids to the High Desert Museum, where they can learn about the local history and culture of the area. It is easy to spend your vacation in Sunriver. In addition to shopping, you can visit restaurants and bars, and take in the town’s scenic beauty. You can also take in a museum’s many different activities.
