The historical city of St. Augustine is located in northeast Florida and is known as the oldest city in the U.S. It’s an excellent destination for a weekend trip or a vacation for the entire family. The city’s Spanish colonial architecture will definitely impress you. The St. July Beach is sandy and serene, while Crescent Beach is a more romantic location. You can also explore Anastasia State Park, a protected wildlife sanctuary. If you like history, you can visit the 17th century Castillo de San Marcos, a stone fortress on the site of an old fortress in the early 1800s.

There are many camping opportunities in and around St. Augustine, including many RV parks, RV resorts, and campgrounds. Whether you’re traveling for business or pleasure, you’ll find a variety of options available to meet your needs. You’ll find plenty of amenities in and around the city, including a cultural center, art galleries, and sporting events. And if you’re traveling on a budget, you can find cheap RV rentals in St. Augustine and book your accommodations at one of the campgrounds in the area.

There are many public and private campgrounds in St. Augustine. If you are traveling for pleasure, you’ll be able to choose a site in a scenic location near the city center. The Compass RV Resort is a popular choice, with three designated camping areas that offer full hookups. Each site has concrete patios, picnic tables, and fire pits. If you’re traveling with a motorhome, there are many places to stay.

If you’re looking for a campground outside of the city, try Stagecoach Campground. This campsite is about 20 minutes from the city center. It offers a quiet, rural setting, and spacious RV sites. The campsites at Stagecoach are shaded by live oaks covered in Spanish moss. All of the RV sites are equipped with cable and wifi. This campground is also close to many attractions in St. Augustine.

Aside from the beach, you can also choose to camp at Anastasia State Park. This state park boasts 1,600 acres of natural Florida coastline. It has 139 campsites, including eight for RVs. Forty-seven RVs can be accommodated in a single campground. The other 46 sites are for tent-only camping. The site has flush toilets and showers, and you can bring your pets for a swim.

While staying in St. Augustine, you can explore the historic district or rent a RV to camp in the park. The city has several RV parks to choose from. The Orange Grove RV Park provides shuttle service to the historic district and provides access to both the Intracoastal water and the St.Augustine Beach. The Stagecoach Campground has a great view of the city and offers amenities like a restaurant. The campgrounds in St. Augustine are located near the beach.
